About

After graduating from Howard University, I established HGC Apparel in 2008. My vision was to revive the early 90's and to bring back the air of Black pride that most of us as youth associated with that time.

After graduating from Howard University, I established HGC Apparel in 2008. My vision was to revive the early 90's and to bring back the air of Black pride that most of us as youth associated with that time. The baggy sweatshirts, color blocking, and the bright and flashy "Black and Proud" designs were a staple of this time, which had been long forgotten until now! At HGC Apparel, we are inspired by this era and strive to put our customers back into this euphoric genre. It is our hope that HGC Apparel will give you a feeling of pride and consciousness of our community.
