In another 2014 survey, 54 percent of black adults said they believed owning a gun makes people safer. Two years earlier, only 29 percent said so.
We recommend African Americans join National African American Gun Association (NAAGA) and find a local gun club near you! The NRA has never served the interest of Black people, however, don't let your disdain of the seemingly all-while organization make you fear guns. Get training, visit a range, then visit a Black-owned gun store.
