Walé Oyéjidé, Esq. is a designer, writer, musician and lawyer that combats bias with creative storytelling. As the founder of Ikiré Jones, he employs fashion design as a vehicle to celebrate the perspectives of marginalized populations. A socially aware design company that marries the romance of Classical art with the vibrance of West African culture. In addition to his role as the brand's creative director, Walé Oyéjidé designs Ikiré Jones's textiles/accessories and serves as the company's writer. Mr. Oyéjidé is a TED Fellow and he gave a TED Talk at TED Global 2017 in Tanzania. His apparel design can be seen in the upcoming Marvel Studios film "Black Panther."
